Founder of Badlands Seamless Gutters and full-time firefighter, Grant built the business from scratch on grit, integrity, and a passion for delivering the best customer experience possible.
Grant didn’t plan on becoming “the gutter guy.” While working full-time as a firefighter on 48-hour shifts, he kept hearing from contractors about a big gap in the local market — reliable gutter installation. With no prior experience, but a long-time dream of starting his own business, Grant dove in headfirst.
He spent hours studying, then cashed out his 401k from an old oilfield job to buy a gutter machine, trailer, and tools — all paid for in cash. No safety net, just belief, grit, and a willingness to figure it out.
From calling friends for his first jobs to now leading a growing team, Grant has built Badlands Seamless Gutters on the values that shaped him as a firefighter: integrity, resourcefulness, and putting people first.
For Grant, every customer matters, every job matters, and every relationship matters. His mission is simple — deliver the best customer experience possible, own mistakes when they happen, and always make them right.
When he’s not on a roof or at the fire station, Grant’s with his family, living by his own advice: life is short — make it count.
